Plant a tree for carbon capture

Hard20 points

How to do this

  1. Choose a native, climate-suited species — Ghaf, Sidr, Date Palm.
  2. Plant it in cooler months (October–March) in a permitted spot.
  3. Water deeply and mulch.
  4. Plan how it'll be cared for long-term — a tree only captures carbon if it survives.
  5. Photograph yourself with the planted tree.

Reflection prompts

  • What did you plant, and where? Who'll care for it? What did you enjoy?
