Join or organise a desert or park clean-up

How to do this

1. Pick a spot that needs it — a desert area, a wadi, a public park, or a community garden.
2. Bring gloves, reusable bags, and water. Go early morning or late afternoon to avoid the heat.
3. Sort what you collect into recyclables and general waste where possible.
4. Check for organised clean-ups via Emirates Environmental Group or your community group — joining one counts.
5. Photograph yourself with the litter you collected.
